If you have responsibility for organising volunteers and you are in a paid or voluntary role, this course is ideal. People who have previously worked/volunteered in this role may also apply.  Get the knowledge and skills required to be able to effectively manage volunteers and ensure that your organisation makes the most of their valuable contribution. Gain the key management skills and knowledge necessary to give your organisation the edge and equip yourself with a range of transferable skills.

5 residential weekends - 3 days, 2 nights each week (3.00pm Friday to 2.00pm Sunday)

You will develop practical leadership and management knowledge and skills across the following disciplines:

Managing volunteer agreements
Supervising and supporting volunteers
Promoting volunteering within your organisation and to volunteers

Eligibility:

The Level 3 Award in the Management of Volunteers is aimed at volunteer managers and co-ordinators who have a hands-on role in supporting volunteers in either paid employment, or a volunteering capacity.  People who have had previous experience of working with and managing/supervising volunteers and who may not currently be in employment or a volunteering role may also apply.

You must be working at Level 2 literacy, or above.
