Following the launch of the Inclusion Health Living Library initiative, we are looking to identify individuals who may be interested in joining Birmingham’s first Inclusion Health Living Library.

The Living Library model is designed to bring together system leaders, practitioners and voluntary sector partners with people who have direct lived experience of exclusion and inequality.

The aim is to move beyond story-telling and ensure that lived experience plays a meaningful role in tackling stigma and discrimination, shaping services, influencing system change and informing more inclusive approaches for better health outcomes across Birmingham.

The report provides an overview of the Living Library launch event and the ambition to embed lived experience as a core part of learning, service design and improvement across the system.
