Birmingham City Council is committed to working collaboratively with partner organisations to deliver effective services that reduce and prevent violence across our communities. As part of this commitment, we are undertaking a programme of market engagement to help inform and shape our future strategic approach.

This engagement is intended to strengthen the support available to our children and young people by ensuring that future services are evidence-based, responsive to local need, and informed by the experience and expertise of organisations currently working in this space.

We would therefore welcome your participation in this process by completing the questionnaire available via the link:

The questionnaire seeks to gather insight on current provision, emerging needs, gaps in support, and innovative or effective approaches to violence reduction and prevention. Your responses will directly inform our planning and help us to develop services that are robust, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of Birmingham’s communities.

Please be assured that responses will be used for planning and engagement purposes only and will not form part of any formal procurement process at this stage.

Following a review of submissions, we may contact some organisations to seek clarification or further information where additional detail would be helpful. However, there is no requirement to provide anything beyond the questionnaire unless contacted directly.

We appreciate the time and expertise required to complete this questionnaire and thank you in advance for your contribution. Your input is highly valued and will play an important role in shaping future provision.
