14th Community Inspiration Awards 2026

Nomination for the 14th Community Inspiration Awards 2026 is now open and will close on Tuesday 31st March 2026.

The annual Community Inspiration Awards is organised by the Community Foundation, to recognise outstanding contributions made by staff from public sector organisations, charities, businesses and members of the community, whose efforts have made a positive difference in the community. The awards ceremony will take place in Birmingham on Friday 25th September 2026 where our panel of esteemed judges will announce the finalists and winners.

Nomination is open to all from across England. Individuals can be nominated for more than one award category where applicable. With 21 award
categories to choose from, you can nominate somebody who you think deserves one of these award. Individuals can also submit a self-nomination, with the support of an independent verifier (basically, someone who can vouch for your good work!)

West Midlands Multibank Reaches One Million Milestone to Help Families in Need

One million essential items have been distributed to families in need across the region through the West Midlands Multibank since the project was launched just over a year ago. The milestone was celebrated by BVSC, who oversee the West Midlands Multibank alongside funders Comic Relief and Sport Relief. The West Midlands Multibank receives donations from businesses such as Amazon to distribute to a network of over 200 community partners who then distribute them to families most in need.

Early Help Mental Health Services provide voluntary, preventative support for children, young people, and families facing challenges to prevent future escalations into secondary care mental health services. The way our young people want to access support, and their needs have changed a lot over the last 10 years. We are reviewing our services to ensure we deliver them effectively and to check if our current delivery model meeting patient needs.
