Trustees' Week provides the ideal opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the work of nearly a million trustees across the UK. It’s also a chance to connect with others, share experiences, and learn more about what being a trustee involves. There are a range of events, training sessions and resources available to help you build skills and confidence.

If you’re not currently a trustee but you’re considering the role, there’s lots of useful information available to help you get started.

    This in-person seminar, hosted by HCR Law Birmingham on 4 November 2025, celebrates the vital role of charity trustees. The event will feature legal updates and expert speakers from Birmingham Children’s Hospital and RBC Brewin Dolphin. Plus networking opportunities.

Trustees’ Week reflections: Two Decades as a Trustee!
Surrinder Bains, a Research Champion with BVSC’s Research and Evaluation Team, didn’t set out to become a trustee - it happened by chance.
