Kaur Lab UK Launch West Midlands survey on Anonymous experiences of racism, harassment, and hate affecting women of colour The more voices we hear, the stronger the case for action. Kaur Lab UK CIC has launched a West Midlands-wide survey to gather anonymous experiences of racism, harassment, and hate affecting women of colour since the summer of 2024. The findings will be collated and shared with West Midlands Police, local authorities, and the Mayor’s Office to inform regional safety strategies, community cohesion work, and equality action planning. We know that incidents of racial and gender-based hate have increased significantly, yet many women’s experiences remain unseen or unreported. This survey aims to give those women a voice, to ensure their lived experiences are counted and taken seriously by those in positions of power. I would be extremely grateful if you could help by:• Sharing the survey link below with your teams, particularly staff who identify as women of colour.• Encouraging participation through your internal networks, staff groups, or newsletters.• Share the survey with your external networks and partners 📢 Survey link: Click Here ⛔ Trigger warning: The survey contains references to racism, discrimination, and hate incidents. Participants can skip questions or stop at any time. This is an opportunity to contribute to an evidence base that can directly influence local and regional policy responses to racism, hate crime, and gendered safety. Thank you for your support and solidarity in helping to make our communities safer and more inclusive for all women. Warm regards,Sahdaish Kaur PallEmail: [email protected] Manage Cookie Preferences
