Young Scrutineers Programme – Get Involved! Have you had support from services like social care, police or health?We’re interested in hearing from young people with experience of being supported to stay safe to join our Young Scrutineers Programme.Help improve services, share your views, and make a difference for other young people.Interested? Contact Sophie Watson (Quality Impact and Outcomes Programme Manager, BSCP)What will you do? Provide a young person’s perspective on safeguarding issues and initiatives. Support our Independent Scrutineer in evaluating how organisations work together to safeguard children in Birmingham. Assist in co-designing and participating in activities and events. Help create engaging content for social media platforms and other resources for those working with children. Attend various meetings and contribute your ideas on how to keep children safe from harm and improve services. Support from the Birmingham Youth Service for all activities and sessions. Who can get involved? Are you between 13-21 years and live in Birmingham? Are you able to make at least 2 sessions per month in the late afternoon/early evening? Are you passionate about keeping children and young people safe? Can you work in a team?
