Action learning is one of the most powerful ways in which managers develop.  It is a form of facilitated questioning that encourages critical thinking and problem solving in a group environment.

Bringing one of your current challenges or opportunities to a mastermind group of peers helps you and colleagues develop as expertise, experience and advice are shared.

Action learning is where peers get together with the lightest of facilitation to receive each other's challenges and opportunities.  Sometimes it will be the first time an individual has shared a challenge with others.  Just by articulating the issue, rather than it bouncing around in your head, can help put a new perspective on it.  By sharing their issue peers can offer questions and insights that often trigger further thoughts.

Results from action learning have been remarkable as the sharing of problems or opportunities is practical real-life stuff not classroom theory. Participants report that they feel genuinely empowered by addressing their own challenges and helping to support others with their issues.

It is a real win-win situation and incredibly time efficient.  It is effective both face to face or via Teams or Zoom.  Some action learning groups meet as a one-off others meet regularly.
