Digital Inclusion

BVSC, Support Partners and VCFSE organisations across the City are working  towards Digital Inclusion. 

We are represented on local and regional digital inclusion partnerships. 

We also support Digital Neighbourhood Network Schemes

Digital NNS supports Birmingham’s 10 Neighbourhood Network Schemes, community groups, social prescribers and social workers to build their digital skills and capacity so they feel confident about providing the right digital support to their citizens and communities. The focus is on ensuring that older citizens and citizens with long-term disabilities have access to essential digital tools, tech and services.

BVSC and partners work with the Birmingham City Observatory which provides an open data portal for Birmingham, offering access to data about our city and the wider West Midlands Region.

The National Cyber Security Centre provides organisations with information and support on Cyber Security.
