Groups can be tricky, and community groups even more so; people may not know each other and come from different backgrounds. The purpose may not be clear yet, members may not be confident or may have particular access needs, you might want to introduce an agenda or get some feedback, but you’re worried some people might take over or feelings run high.

The Great Community Groups sessions are practical learning groups, with two sessions face to face and one on Zoom. It is for anyone who meets with citizens to understand what they need and what they want to do to make changes to things that are important to them and their communities. This will be particularly useful for participants from user-led groups who want to include every voice and will include time for you to test and tweak methods for your particular setting.

The next sessions are on January 16th and 23rd in-person, and February 13th 2025 on Zoom (you must be available to attend all three sessions). Find out more and sign up for the free sessions: https://tinyurl.com/GCGJan
