NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) classifies voluntary sector organisations by the following size and income levels:

Micro	Less than £10,000
Small	£10,000 to £100,000
Medium	£100,000 to £1m
Large	£1m to £10m
Major	£10m to £100m
Super-Major	More than £100m

 

The vast majority of voluntary organisations across the UK are micro and small organisations.

If you are a CIC or social enterprise however, iSE (Initiative for Social Enterprise) can help you.

BVSC (Birmingham Voluntary Service Council) provides support to all sizes and income bands of VCFSE organisations, but generally our support is more suitable for provided once medium to larger organisations and those who have moved on from the initial start/set-up stage and are looking to grow.
