Sandwell Advocacy’s Sandwell Together is a telephone befriending service supporting local people facing loneliness and isolation through meaningful connection. Sandwell Together was set up in response to the social isolation and loneliness felt by many of us during the Covid pandemic. Sadly, social isolation and loneliness continue to be an issue for many people and Sandwell Together is committed to continuing to provide this support. Sandwell Together now has a number of people on board.

Is this something you feel you could do?

We are looking for people 18years old or over, with kindness, empathy and good listening skills who would like to make a real difference to the lives of others, for a commitment of six months.

In return for giving up a small amount of your time each week to make a call from your own home we will offer:

- Full training
- The opportunity to learn new skills
- Make new friends
- The satisfaction of knowing that you are doing something really worthwhile
